Past Events
The World Congress for Software Quality(WCSQ), a major international gathering of software quality professionals began in 1995 with a partnership of the Software Division of the American Society for Quality(ASQ), the Software Group of the European Organization for Quality(EOQ), and the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers(JUSE).
The congress is currently run by ASQ for the Americas, International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and JUSE for Asia and Oceania.
The first World Congress on Software Quality (1st WCSQ) was held in San Francisco, USA in 1995.
2nd WCSQ was held in Yokohama, Japan in 2000 under the Slogan “Software Quality for the Coming New Millennium”.
3rd WCSQ was held in Munich, Germany in 2005.
4th WCSQ was held in Bethesda Maryland, USA in 2008 under the theme of “World-Class Software Quality Creating Competitive Advantage Worldwide”.
5th WCSQ was held in Shanghai, China in 2011 under the theme of “United Under One Banner: Best of Best Quality”.
6th WCSQ, was held in London ,UK in 2014 under the theme of ”Shift left - inspiration and innovation for software quality”.
7th WCSQ will be held in Lima, Peru from 20 to 22 March, 2017 under the theme of "Software Quality Meets IoT (the Internet of Things)".
