2026 ISTQ-S Report (August 25 - September 2, 2026)

The International Seminar on TQM – Summer, organized by JUSE (Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers), was successfully held from Tuesday, August 25 to Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

This time, the program welcomed multiple participants from the Singapore along with participants from India and Dubai, bringing the total number of attendees to 14.
Throughout the seminar, lively discussions and question-and-answer sessions took place, enabling participants to deepen their understanding of TQM. In addition, during the company visits, participants had the opportunity to observe efficient production sites where the concepts learned in the classroom sessions during the previous week were being put into practice. This allowed them to witness firsthand how TQM is applied across various aspects of business operations.
In the post-program survey, one participant commented, “I was impressed by how the quality policy was thoroughly embedded throughout the organization, how each individual took responsibility for quality, the ongoing efforts to maintain quality, and the corporate culture that values employees.”
We are delighted that the various initiatives, practices, and insights shared by the host companies contributed to helping participants gain a deeper understanding of Japanese TQM.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants for their cooperation, which enabled us to successfully conclude the seminar.
We sincerely hope that the knowledge and experience gained through this TQM seminar will be put to good use in each of your respective organizations.

We are planning to hold the next seminar in February 2027.
