JUSE and IFQM CEO/CXO Learning Mission to Japan 2026

A training program for Indian top management was held in Japan in collaboration with the Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) and JUSE.
In addition to lectures delivered by university professors and other experts, the program featured the sharing of practical knowledge and experience by business leaders and frontline practitioners, as well as company visits, making it a highly intensive and content-rich program despite its short duration.
Participants experienced a practical, hands-on approach by directly seeing, feeling, and learning at Japanese “Gemba” (frontline workplaces). Throughout the program, active and insightful questions were raised under the shared theme of “quality,” leading to candid exchanges of views and making the program a highly valuable learning opportunity.
Although the program lasted only five days, we believe it provided a highly fruitful experience. In addition to deepening participants’ understanding of Japan’s approach to quality, the program also offered opportunities to experience Japanese culture, cuisine, and meaningful interactions with people from diverse backgrounds.
We sincerely hope that the insights and ideas gained through this program will be of value in the participants’ respective workplaces and organizations.
This was the inaugural implementation of the program, and we hope to continue and further develop this initiative while deepening collaboration and exchange with IFQM in the years ahead.
