A Study Group Organized by Progress Partners (France) Visited Japan
Following the last year, JUSE hosted a TQM study group from France, organized at the request of Progress Partners, a business solutions service company operating in France.
The study group participated in a seminar on Total Quality Management (TQM) and visited the sites of leading Japanese companies known for their high standards of quality management during the period from June 6(Mon) to 13 (Fri).
During the site visits, participants expressed that the experience exceeded their expectations. They were highly impressed by the advanced quality initiatives of Japanese organizations, particularly the structured and systematic approaches to human resource development and occupational safety—highlighting that these were not merely isolated efforts, but well-established systems. Seeing tangible results of TQM promotion greatly motivated the participants.
Furthermore, during the extended part of their schedule, the study group also had the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture, such as the tea ceremony and Zen meditation, gaining many valuable opportunities for cultural exchange. We sincerely hope that the participants will make the most of their experiences in Japan in their future endeavors and continue to thrive.
